The 2nd Annual Crossroads Slam returns with a Vengeance!
Open Mic, poetry Slam and short film Festival
Hosted by urban ink’s Omari Newton
Inspired by Black History Month, urban ink’s culturally diverse membership and the pending arrival of the 2010 Olympics, poets are invited to slam on topics that explore the notion of Fair Play. This includes fair play during competition and fair play during Olympic planning. Artists and activists from all communities are invited to join us for an evening of passion, insight and prizes.
All musicians, poets and performers are welcome. Sign up for the open mic, the Poetry Slam, or propose a short film that relates to the theme.
For Performer Registration please email info@urbanink.ca or call 604 692-0885.
